The Real Inspector Hound makes a farce of farce – all the right ingredients are there. Corpses, an isolated manor, a pretty girl, theatre critics who can't keep off the stage. After Magritte includes a swinging fruitbowl, an old lady and an ironing board and best of all a policeman wandering around in the outside world in pyjamas, shaving cream and carrying a white parasol.
